Janet Murikia Wambui

Motivation through education

Janet grew up in a big family with one sister and five brothers. After she finished high school, she started a two-year hospitality training in Kimlea, which is close to Nairobi. There she learnt how to cook and how to work as a waitress, and developed skills in customer service as well as administration and office work. Since Janet finished her education in Kimlea, she has been working as a receptionist in the Kimlea Medical Clinic, where she is expanding her skillset even more. Her dream is to own a bakery in five years time, employ staff and give them new perspectives for the future. Before Janet starts a family, she wants to focus on her career, become independant and stand on her own feet.
