Next goal: Vocational education in mechatronics engineering
Jordy de León is 18 years old and lives in Saltillo, the capital of the federal state Coahuila in Mexico. Jordy is completing a dual vocational education training in mechatronics engineering. He is one of 70 apprentices, who are receiving a dual education in the course of the RHI-Youth Employment-Programme with the support of ICEP. ,,The dual education programme is a great opportunity to gather work experiences at an early stage”, says Jordy. ,,This will enable me to enter the job market more easily.” Jordy is looking forward to contribute with his skills to the RHI factory after finishing his education and wants to deepen his knowledge in mechatronics in further studies.
