Success Story

James Mwangi Muchinga

Project: Microcredit financing (2012)

,,Due to the support and ideas of other companies I constantly learn new things for my own company!’’

Building a successful company through knowledge exchange

James is a trained mechanic and owns a small workshop in Kayole (Nairobi) since 2010. Participating in micro-credit financing programmes at Imani enabled him to run his company successfully – covering his costs and feeding his wife and three children. James still receives support from a self help group at Imani, in which different entrepreneurs give advice to each other and constantly expand their knowledge through this valuable exchange. With his income he is now able to pay the schooling fees for his children.
